Wellbeing and creative health funding and fundraising
Wellbeing and creative health funding and fundraising
For charities, CICs, CIOs and community organisations that use arts, culture, heritage and nature to improve health and wellbeing.
What we do
Wellbeing work sits between health, community, culture and social justice, and funders rarely make it easy to see where you fit. Creative health, social prescribing, community wellbeing and arts in health are each described differently by different funders.
We help wellbeing organisations explain their work in the language each funder uses, back it with evidence, and build a funding plan that does not rely on one source.

FAQs
-
A wellbeing fundraising consultant helps charities, CICs, CIOs and purpose-led organisations identify suitable funders, build a strong case for support and develop sustainable fundraising strategies. They can also support grant research, bid writing, application reviews and funding plans for creative health, community wellbeing and health inequalities work.
-
Sometimes, but not always. Many UK funders accept applications from charities, CIOs and CICs, while others restrict funding to registered charities or specific legal structures. We help organisations identify funders they are genuinely eligible for, so time is not wasted on unsuitable grant programmes.
-
Creative health organisations can access funding from arts, health, community, wellbeing and social-impact funders. The challenge is often identifying which funding route best matches the organisation’s outcomes and explaining the work in language that funders understand. We help build a focused funding pipeline and position creative health projects for the most relevant opportunities.
-
Yes. We support Arts Council England applications where the project has a clear arts, culture or creative health focus. This can include reviewing draft applications, strengthening the artistic and public-benefit case, improving outcomes and helping organisations explain how their wellbeing work aligns with the funder’s priorities.
-
The cost depends on the type and level of support required. Some organisations need a one-off application review, while others need fundraising strategy, prospect research, bid writing or longer-term support. We agree the scope and fee in advance, and a free discovery call is the best place to discuss what would be most useful.
